Our ballroom is a unique setting for your wedding reception. Once a school gymnasium, the ballroom can seat up to 300 guests at round banquet tables or 350 for a cocktail party type reception. The original solid maple floor makes any size dance floor easy.

Ceremony in the Auditorium or on the Patio

Say your vows in our 450-seat auditorium or on the patio which can seat up to 250 for a ceremony. Guests can easily flow from the auditorium or patio into our ballroom, making Hotel Grinnell a convenient location to host your special event.

Cocktail Hour on the Patio

A cocktail hour on the patio is a great way to fill time between the ceremony and reception. Plan a cocktail hour on our outdoor patio so guests can mingle as they arrive. Guests can then be ushered into the ballroom when dinner is served.

Bridal Suite

Our bridal suite is over the top with a canopy bed, tub for two, shower for two and living area. The suite has a private dressing room with salon chair and full size mirror.  There’s even a silver hook to hang your gown and a private stairway down to the ballroom! The bridal suite is complementary when you book your wedding at Hotel Grinnell.
